From drawing to design -
picking up an image drawn then carved in soapstone
Choose your tools =
thicker markers are better, ideally ~1/8 of an inch or larger
Find some paper - work inside a ~3” x 6” space
(remember - the end of the piece is also the beginning of the piece
Choose larger markers
Draw something. Bigger lines are going to work better than thin lines - and remember - there’s going to be distortion depending on what we make!
i should have just used one pen, but i wanted to test some bad ideas. don’t do this = just use one color of pen unless necessary :)
